JobProof, also listed in some app stores as “JobProof: Work Reports”, is a mobile application designed to help service providers document completed work, create proof reports, generate PDF reports, share client portal links, and manage payment-related job records.
Depending on how you use JobProof, we may collect or store the following types of information:
JobProof uses camera access to capture before and after proof photos. Photos are optional but help create stronger work reports. Photos may be stored locally on your device and may be uploaded to cloud storage when cloud sync, PDF reports, or client portal features are used.
JobProof may use device location when permission is granted to attach GPS proof to photos and reports. Location data is used to support work documentation, timestamps, GPS stamps, and dispute reduction. JobProof does not use location data for advertising or continuous background tracking.
JobProof uses Firebase services to support authentication, cloud database records, file storage, client portals, PDF report access, payment status, and subscription status. Cloud features may upload job data, proof photos, PDF files, and portal-related records to Firebase.
JobProof may allow users to sign in using Google, Apple, or other supported authentication providers. Sign-in is used to connect your app data, subscription status, cloud reports, client portals, and business settings to your account. Authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication and the selected sign-in provider.
When using Google or Apple sign-in, the provider may share limited account information with JobProof, such as your email address, display name, and provider user identifier. JobProof uses this information only for account access, cloud sync, subscription verification, support, and app functionality.
When a client portal is created, selected job details, business information, proof photos, report information, payment status, and PDF links may be displayed on a web page accessible through the portal link. You are responsible for sharing portal links only with intended recipients.
JobProof may allow clients to pay by card and add tips through Stripe. Stripe processes payment information. JobProof does not store full card numbers. JobProof may store payment status, paid amount, tip amount, currency, Stripe receipt URL, Stripe payment identifiers, and related metadata needed to display paid status in the app, portal, and PDF reports.
JobProof Pro subscriptions are processed through Google Play or Apple App Store and managed through RevenueCat. JobProof may store subscription status, product identifiers, entitlement status, renewal or expiration information, platform/store information, and related subscription metadata in Firebase.
We use information to:
JobProof does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by third-party service providers needed to operate the app, including Firebase, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, Google Play, Apple App Store, RevenueCat, Stripe, and related infrastructure providers.
Job and report data may remain stored locally or in cloud services until deleted by the user or until it is no longer needed to provide the service. Deleting a job may remove associated cloud records, proof photos, PDFs, and portal data where supported by the app.
You can control camera and location permissions through your device settings. You can choose whether to create proof photos, generate reports, use cloud features, connect Stripe, or subscribe to Pro features.
You can delete your JobProof account inside the app from Menu → Account → Delete Account. You can also request account deletion by email at jobproofapp@gmail.com. More information is available at https://jobproof-app.web.app/delete-account.
We use Firebase security rules, cloud functions, and service provider security features to help protect user data. No system is completely secure, and users are responsible for keeping their device and account access secure.
JobProof is intended for service providers and business use. It is not intended for children.
Data may be processed and stored in countries where our service providers operate. By using JobProof, you understand that data may be processed outside your country of residence.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
